Catch Up In English GCSE

Catherine Miller has worked in education for the past ten years. Following a degree in Classics from Oxford University (Somerville College), she taught for a year in Athens before completing her secondary PGCE and, later, an MA in English in Education at King's College, London. She taught in London state schools for five years before moving to educational charity Team Up, where she designed and wrote the English curriculum in addition to managing their tuition programme in schools. Catherine has also privately tutored pupils from ages 8-18 in creative writing, literature, exam technique and essay skills. She has examined English Language GCSE for AQA. She now works for a fintech company designing financial education materials. In her spare time, Catherine is an award-winning novelist (Guardian Hot Key Books Young Writers' Prize 2012, SCBWIBI Undiscovered Voices 2016).
